Amazon Union(/ˈæməˌzɑːn ˈjuːnjən/ (Loudspeaker listen)) officially the Amazon Union is a sovereign state located in South America. It borders Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay to the South, Peru and Colombia to the West, and Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and France to the North. With a population of 18, 630, 903 people, it is the 61st biggest in terms of population. The population is similar to the one of Burkina Faso.

Amazon Union was a part of the Portugese Empire until 1815 when Brazil declared independence. This made the people of Amazon furious as they had to side with a big country that didn't want to help them again. After protest there were 2 wars. The first Amazonic-Brazilian war and the second Amazonic-Brazilian war. In the first war the Amazonic people won control over the states Roraima, Amazonas and Acre. In the second war, they got control over the rest of the land they own to this day.

It's capital is the largest city, Manaus. It has 1 official language, Portugese. It also has lots of small languages in the Amazon region, but they aren't recognized as the national language as Portugese is mainly used.

It is a member of the UN.

History[]

Portugese Occupation (1534-1815)[]

In 1534, Portugal took over a country that would be known as Brazil. Later on, this also included the Amazon Union.

Brazilian Occupation (1815-1827)[]

After Brazil got independence from Portugal, Brazil also attacked and occupied the Amazon Union, which was trying to gain independence. The people of Amazon Union had a harsh time these years, as Brazil gave no support to the Amazonic peoples, and making them enraged until a war breaks out.

The first Amazonic-Brazilian war (1827)[]

The Amazonic people had had enough, and rebelled against the Brazilian government. As they were stronger and more advanced in the Amazon, and Brazil being a fairly new nation, the Amazonic people easily got the states Roraima, Amazonas and Acre. The Amazonic people would originally name the nation The Amazonic People's Union. Brazil and The Amazonic People's Union would have peace for 2 years until the Amazonic people would strike again.

The second Amazonic-Brazilian war (1829-1831)[]

In 1829, as the Brazilians didn't meet The Amazonic People's Union's demands, they striked again. Again, they easily had an advantage and easily got the rest of their land which they have today. They also named themselves Amazon Union, as the name made more sense in Portugese.

The great age of Amazon Union (1831-1902)[]

Ever since Amazon Union got independece, they got major support from all the Latin American nations, and it became one of the richest nations in Latin America, behind Argentina and Brazil. During the great age, Amazon Union would gain the most amount of economy it ever gained. Sadly, it all came to an end in 1902.

The Amazonic-Bolivian wars (1902-1906)[]

Bolivia was loosing all it's land, so it wanted some back. It would start to demand massive amounts of economic land from the Amazon Union to get back. The Amazon Union declined the demands, and Bolivia declared war on Amazon Union. At the beginning, Bolivia easily had the upper hand. Luckily Peru and Paraguay gave Amazon Union lots of support, as they all had a good diplomatic status, and eventually Bolivia lost all the 3 wars. However, the wars had devastated Amazon Union, as lots of economic areas had been bombed to pieces. This made Amazon Union's economy decrease massively.

The great depression of Amazon Union (1906-1913)[]

Amazon Union was shattered. They had nowhere to get money from, as Bolivia had destroyed lots of trade areas. Amazon Union also had difficulties making new ones, as the prices were massively increasing and people didn't have enough time to make too many of them. In 1909 the decrease hit it's peak, as at one point 1 USD was around 15, 000 AZD. Luckily though, the US and Peru were there to help Amazon Union get enough money to get good trade centers, and by 1913 the economy was almost back on it's feet.

Amazon Union in WWI (1915-1918)[]

Amazon Union gave major support to the Entente to defeat the Central Powers.

Amazon Union's greater involvement in sports (1918-1936)[]

At the moment, Amazon Union was fairly locked. It didn't have much involvement in the outside world, and the most they had experienced was with the US giving it futuristic tech. Then radio stations started broadcasting all sorts of sports and entertainment. The people of Amazon Union wanted to know what these were, and soon enough Amazon Union got multiple skilled athletes in all sorts of sports. This would open up the country more, especially because in the first Olympics they played in, which was in Antwerp in 1920, the Amazon Union placed 9th with 6 gold medals. It also play very well in FIFA World Cup 1934, where they placed 6th. They also applied for host for the 1936 Olympics, but failed, and soon enough they would become worse in the Olympics, placing 21st in the Berlin 1936 Olympics.

Amazon Union in WWII (1940-1945)[]

In WWII, Amazon Union would once again support the Allies. They would send many supplies to France to help it defend off Nazi Germany. Amazonic generals would be a part of a few important invasions like the reoccupation of Warsaw, Paris and Rome.

Communist influence over Amazon Union (1945-1962)[]

After WWII, Paraguay would be very communist. As the Amazonic people believed the communist propaganda, they would eventually try to replace the democracy. These threats and scandals would be happening until 1962, when the commies get enough support to start a war.

Amazonic civil war of 1963[]

The communists started rebelling. They occupied lots of cities in the south, and started charging for the capital. Luckily, the US and other democratic states helped Amazon Union enough to stop the rebels, and abolish communism from Amazon Union.
