Why hello! This is WIP. This article is about a war in one of my Secondary nations. Some history.

1867 - North America []

The year 1867

The Formation of the Dominion of Canada[]

In the year 1867 the date is July 1st. On this day the Dominion of Canada is formed out of Ontario, Québec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. The results are shown below.

Resistance of Formation[]

In Nova Scotia where the Anti-Confederation Party has the majority they began a small protest on July 2nd. On July 9th a second protest was held this time bigger. They demanded to leave the Dominion. The Conservatives didn't budge. But on July 21st the Liberals in Québec protested, they where scared away a few hours later.

Northern Québec Crisis[]

On August 2nd two protests where held in Northern Québec the Liberals and the Anti-Confederation. The two yelled and threatened eachother until shots were fired at 6:00 AM it then broke out it to full out warfare. It was stopped two hours later.

The Year 1868

Anti-Protest Act of 1868[]

On June 3rd 1868 J.A MacDonald put together a anti-protesting police force. On June 4th Liberals protested again in east Ontario. The protest was unsuccessful due to lack of support from other Liberals. On July 2nd the Anti-Protesting force was open and running.

Election of Ulysses S. Grant[]

On November 3rd of 1869 the United States held a election between Ulysses S. Grant and Horatio Seymour. Ulysses being a Republican and Seymour being a Democrat

North Québec Fire[]

On November 19th Pro-Conservatives set a fire at a liberal protest as opposition. Police quickly intercepted the fire not before 2 Conservatives and 8 Liberals died. On November 24th a memorial was put up honoring those who died and those who fought the fire.

The Year 1869

Repossession of Rupert's Land[]

On November 19th of 1869 the Hudson Bay Company signed its letters patent back to British rule. This ultimately boosted Liberal and Anti-Confederation power.

Voting Rights Act[]

On December 10th Wyoming gave women the right to vote. This of course impacted the world. Even more states would soon ask for the same.

1870 - North America []

The Year 1870

Reconstruction Era[]

On January 26 Virginia officaly rejoins the Union boosting United States unity and peace. Though West Virginia still remains a state instead of reunification with the two states.

15th Amendment[]

On February 3rd African Americans can now vote in the United States.

British Interference[]

On April 4th of 1870 the British secretly supplied the Anti-Confederation with weaponry. This was a plan to gain control over the area. On July 2nd the British gave the Liberals weapons in secret, this was of course to start a civil war within Canada.

Third Enforcement Act[]

In April 20th the United States government began to combat the KKK (Ku Klux Klan). This was to enforce unity between the races.

Nova Scotia Crisis[]

On December 8th the Anti-Confedration started another protest this one was quite decently sized. They marched down the street holding flags and yelling chants. At that time a artillery strike was fired killing 19. 4 Liberals had been attacking the protest killing many. A estimated 126 were killed. That was almost 95% of the protesters that were protesting in the area. This sparked possible war.

Battle of Québec[]

On January 3rd Anti-Confedration forces had landed in Northern Québec. They were heavily armed and even had access to artillery. They soon occupied a hotel as temporary base. On January 4th Conservative forces attempted to defeat the Anti-Confederation when Liberals started to intervene too. They clashed in one big war but on February 19 the Anti-Confederation occupied Québec. With the support of British the Canadians soon learned that the British had been sneaking weapons to the Liberals and the Anti-Confederation. They eventually stopped British boats from coming toward Canadian land.

Battle of Ontario[]

On March 1st the Anti Confederation attemped to defeat the Liberals and Conservatives. They first attacked by sending ships to Southern Ontario. Those boats ended up being shot down by Liberal artillery. On March 21st the Conservatives took down Liberal artillery weakening them. So on June 1st the Anti-Confederation attacked Northern Ontario. This of course was intercepted by Conservatives.

Agreement of 1872[]

On July 7th Canadian government made a statement saying any British boat that comes toward their land will be shot down and any Canadian boat that does the same to the British will also be shot down.

Battle of Southern Ontario[]

On April 8th British secretly sent a boat from England instead of Rupert's Land. It was filled with supplies and weapons. So on April 12th they attacked Southern Ontario from boat again. This time they avoided Conservative intevention. The attack was successful and they captured Ottawa on April 19th they ended up burning down Liberal Headquarters. Luckily G. Brown had fled to Michigan secretly.

Battle of Nova Scotia[]

With the Anti-Confedration distracted, Conservative forces attacked Nova Scotia where the Headquarters were of the Anti-Confederation. So on August 4th they had started attack on Western Nova Scotia. On September 3rd with the help of British supplies the Anti-Confederation had taken back Northwestern Nova Scotia. Soon Liberal living in the Anti-Confederation occupation of Southern Ontario had rebeled burning down supplies and bases on October 3rd. So on November 7th Conservatives took over all of Western Nova Scotia. The British had now stopped giving them supplies weakening them further. On November 28th the Anti-Confederation capitulated. The Liberals had become neutral then ending the war.

British War Preparation[]

In 1873 January 6th the British set up camps in British Columbia these acted at barracks for the British like mini bases. They would use them as a stockpile of weapons and supplies.

Opposition at Camp Velvet[]

On October 9th troops at a camp in Vancouver were told to set up artillery. This was of course to attack the Cascadians. Now the troops knew that if that artillery was fired they would be attacked. So instead they disposed of the Artillery and burnt the camp. They left on boat possibly toward the Cascadians.

Cascadian Preparation[]

On January 2nd the Cascadians were notified of the new camps by the escaped soldiers of the British Columbia military. They immediately set up their own camps and bases in the Washington territory.

Creation of the Cascadian Home Guard[]

On March 27th Cascadian government called for a new form of defense. So the Cascadian Home Guard was created a civilian man powered division created for protection if the British ever occupied their homes.
