Cascade Union, also known as Cascade (/kæsˈkeɪdiə, -eɪd/), officially known as the Cascade Union of America (CUA) is a country in North America and is ScrubyDub2222's secondary nation.

American Civil War[]
During the Civil War the confederates and the union where at war the state of Oregon had been tired of the regime they decided to hold a referendum to create their own union. On 1863 Oregon ceded from the Union creating the Free Cascade Union. Soon enough in 1864 California and Nevada joined the Free Cascade Union. The Union and Confederacy where greatly weakened but due to the loss of the three states the Union wasn't able to defeat the confederacy word got around about the newly formed Union so on 1866 two US territories joined being the Washington territory and the Dakota territory they where now directly connected to the Union. The year is now 1868 and the Confederacy was weakened to just Texas to Florida. Soon on 1869 the Confederation surrendered the Union then promised that they would later return to take back the 5 states they had lost to the Cascadians.
Pre-North War One[]
After the British Empire had recently lost some land toward the eastern coast of Ruperts Land (Central Canada in 1800s) so the British decided to build up their forces in British Columbia. Meanwhile the Free Cascade Union now known as the Free State of Cascadia was slowly developing their economy. On 1872 a civil war happened in the Dominion of Canada due to the fact that the Anti-Confederation Party had grown in numbers the party was supported by the British. The Cascadians on the other hand remained neutral.
North American Great War[]
Washington Conflict[]
In the late 1872 the Anti Confederation Party was defeated by the Canadian Confederation due to the fact that the British did not send any troops to aid the A.C.P as they only sent supplies many of which didn't make it in time. On 1875 the Cascadians made a treaty with the Canadian Confederation known as the Cascanada Agreement one of which that if either of them get attacked they would both get involved. Despite this warning during 1876 a British military division marched into the Washington territory of the Free State of Cascadia.
Second Washington Conflict[]
The Cascadians where quick to react and fought back. They ended up failing as the British occupied that territory. A week later the Canadian Confederation sent its military into Rupert's Land the battle ended in a stalemate though British losses where in the thousands while the Canadians only had a couple hundreds. But as the Union promised on 1877 the Union soldiers started a attack on the Cascade Union ,Luckily they were able to end in a stalemate as the Union withdrew its troops and scheduled a attack for another year. The Canadians however got a message that the Union had attacked the Cascadians so like they agreed to they prepared for a attack on the Unions capital that would take place in the 1880s.
Third Washington Conflict[]
On 1878 the Union sent its troops into Cascadia again and to make matters worse the British had attacked too. The three where now stuck in a huge fight in the Washington territory as the British and the Union declared war on eachother. The three came up with a agreement that they would split the territory in thirds for occupation in 1880.
Forth Washington Conflict and the Battle of Manitoba[]
But during 1883 the Union sent its military into Ruperts Land as they easily claimed Manitoba. In the late 1883 the Canadians took action and sent their military into the newly claimed land and toward New England. The Canadians fought with much ferocity causing the Union to hand Manitoba over in a attempt to save New England. The Cascadians soon took down the Unions third in the Washington territory taking it back the British then united Rupert's Land, British Columbia, and North-western Territory into the land they called Britsh Northern America in attempt to reinforce their power.
Repossession of Canada[]
In 1886 the British attacked the Canadian Confederation causing them to break out into all out war. The British had lost British Columbia to Cascadia but had occupied Canadas capital during 1889. The Cascadians had taken the Western half of the British Northern America while the British had fully defeated Canada in 1893. The British redirected their military to focus on the west but where to weak to fend the Cascadians off as the Cascadians marched on. In 1894 the Union attacked the British and Cascadians causing the British to give their North American land to Cascadia. This made the Cascadians more powerful as the Cascadians took a long strip of Northern Union land causing them to agree to a treaty in 1898.
World War One[]
During World War One Cascadia did not directly participate in any Warfare though they did supply the British with weapons. They did however sent a message alerting the British about a suprise attack in Scotland which they later intercepted with a fleet of planes. They sent many ships to gaurd the Atlantic ocean from any German boats from passing.
Occupation of Hawaii[]
In 1932 The Cascade Union attempted to buy the Kingdom of Hawaii at first the Hawaiians didn't want to join as they took it as a threat. On 1933 the Hawaiians attacked a Cascadian boat as they claim it was a threat to the people of Hawaii. So a week later a missile was fired destroying 39 Hawaiian boats. Now the Kingdom of Hawaii had declared war on the Cascadians. They were then defeated six days later.
World War Two[]
Cascadia was now the Cascade Union of America and has been supplying the British with supplies and even soldiers against the Todzi Konföderation. But after Japan had defeated China they had directed attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The Cascads where quick to react and defeated the Japanese fleet though they had massively destroyed the place resulting in more Cascad casualties than Japanese casualties.
Occupation of Yap and Palau[]
On 1942 the Cascads had attacked the small islands of Yap and Palau as they clashed with Japanese soldiers. Using small missiles they occupied both islands
Occupation of the Philippines[]
In 1943 they had directed attack into the Japanese claim of the Philippine islands. They swiftly moved from island to island defeating Japanese forces. The Japanese later gave up the islands and directed focus back to protecting Japanese occupied Taiwan. So the Cascads looked for a diffrent area to attack.
Occupation of Indochina and Indonesia[]
The Cascads then fought Japans Indochina occupation the Japanese intercepted a few attacks but the casualties caused them to hide back in Taiwan and Japan. The Cascads then occupied half of the Indochina region but where held off by the remaining forces. So on 1948 they attacked the remaining Indochina divisions defeating them. Using their new power they then directed focus to Japanese occupied Indonesia defeating it very quickly since the divisions in the area where very isolated from the rest of Japans forces.
Bombing of Japan[]
On 1950 they had developed nuclear weapons. They tested one in Nevadas desert and it worked. So on 1951 three Japanese cities where bombed. Those being Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Tokyo. The bombs where very devastating as they caused Japan to surrender two days later.
Aftermath[]
They had now given independence to all the countries they liberated in the war and had Japan turned into a democracy. They had also started the creation of the Global Assembly a alliance to promote world peace one of which that was later dismantled after many wars.
