The coat of arms of Illuccia consists of one shield with a blue background and a golden trimming. inside, there is a crown and under that lies 10 6-pointed stars surrounding a bird. The blue represents the Adriatic sea and sky, and the golden represents the sun, crops, and olives. The bird represents freedom and the crown represents prestige of Illuccia. The six-pointed stars mean that the Adriatics first started out at six main ethnic tribes, and the ten stars indicate the ten years of fighting for independence (for six years, there were protests, but the next for years had war).
