Government: The current president is overthrown by the military as his policies as his policies are seen as inefective by both the military and the population. However, unlike what most people would think, the military held new elections rather than placing one of them as leader. The old parties lose a lot of support, and a new party called the Bolivarian Party benefits from this. Armando Paredes from the BP ends up winning the election with 47% of the vote and he is sworn in as president on March 1st. Armando's main objective is to restore peace on Colombia, and the first step is to make peace with FARC. Although nor everyone agreed, the peace treaty with the FARC was passed by the Congress, putting an end to a decade-long conflict. However the measures against the cartels are much more harsh and a massive crackdown is done all over the country (this was done since the drug war began but now it is intensified). Certain drugs are also legalized, weakening the cartels even further.
Military: The military is modernized and military conscription becomes compulsive, increase the number of active frontline personnel in all military branches, mostly ground. This is done to take down the remaining drug cartels and to protect from foreign threats. Colombia also invests in counter-espionage because reasons.

Panama: Colombia guarantees their independence and sends a proposal to the Panamanian government where they ask them to become part of Colombia as an autonomous region. If they accept they will have autonomy and protection of foreign threats, since many countries will want to own the Panama Canal now that the UN is gone, Mexico already threatened Panama for this, so they should join me.

Economy: The second reason as to why Okuda gained so much support to become the Japanese Empress is because of her economic policies, which most people agree would greatly improve the Japanese economy. The first policy is to increase interest rates through the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve's rate is the rate at which banks borrow money from the government, but, in order to make money, they must lend it at higher rates. So, when the Federal Reserve increases its interest rate, banks have no choice but to increase their rates as well. When banks increase their rates, less people want to borrow money because it costs more to do so if that money accrues interest. So, spending drops, prices drop and inflation slows. The second method is to increase reserve requirements on the amount of money banks are legally required to keep on hand to cover withdraws. Two examples of this include calling in debts that are owed to the government and increasing the interest paid on bonds so that more investors will buy them. Education: Indonesian students are thought 3 main languages instead of just Indonesian, starting from first grade they will be thought English and Chinese (Simplified). Normal Indonesian elementary school will teach: English, Indonesian, Chinese, Mathematics, History, Science, Health and Technology. In Middle school they take the same classes with the addition of Economic and Adult-hood. Then in High school you get the same classes from Elementary and Middle school plus the addition of Business, Military and Agriculture.
Governmental School: The first governmental school is built in Jakarta, it covers Elementary, Middle and High School. Its of 5 floors and a massive school, with pretty modern technology, the school works for a better future of Indonesia. the same school will also be implemented in Singapore, Colombo, Makassar and Bandung.
Urbanization of Remote Islands: Between the countless inhabited islands of Indonesia which don't have access to most urban things the Indonesian government is working on Urbanizing those places. Urbanization starts across the Red Sea and the Singapore straight, where children can go to school via boats implemented by the Indonesian Government, that take them to different cities. In the Singapore straight all the islands are now connected to Singapore through countless land bridges, and these bridges all meet up and head to Sumatra. Meanwhile in the islands west of Sumatra, indigenous people are offered to build modern houses in there, since they accept they are now able to have electricity. Plans for rapid Urbanization in West Indonesia and the Solomon Islands are made for 2018 while plans for Urbanization in the Maldives are made for 2019 but experts say that they can be done by 2018 as well.
Healthcare: Healthcare becomes free as the population grows. The doctors also become more professional and more accessible in any location of Indonesia. Due to high population and high traffic the Indonesian government starts building Medical Helicopters as they state that they are better than buses as they can fly. They are made much more bigger and secure than normal helicopters so doctors can have space for doing everything they need to do. The Medical Helicopters are in its infancy, but give them around 3 years and they'll be much faster and capable of traveling from island to island. This increases the life expectancy.
Cure for Cancer: Indonesian Doctors and Researchers start researching on a cure for cancer. Once they find this cure, chemotherapy might not be necessary and more lives can be saved. Indonesians are told that if anyone in your family has had cancer to please check the doctor at least twice a year to see if you have cancer or are developing cancer.
Traffic: With a large population, traffic in Indonesia is getting worse, and it does not help that its an archipelago. So the Indonesian Government is working a system made to halt traffic in Indonesia. The Indonesians start by making a train station from Northern Sumatra to Western Java, this train station will be made so it can be the fastest in the world as it has to go through a long distance. The train will be made for long distance travel. And so far it is infancy as the tracks are already being build.It starts in Banda Aceh, makes its way to Medan in the east, then it also has a separate track in the west that goes from Banda Aceh to Calan, Meulaboh and Blang Pidie. From here the train takes 2 routes, in the west its splits and goes to the Archipelago west of Sumatra, going through every major island in the archipelago until it reaches Palau Siberut which then splits again into two tracks, one headed towards Padang in west Sumatra and the other continues to the archipelago and heads to Bengkulu. From there it has again 2 tracks that go North and South in the North it heads through the coast and going by every coastal city in Western Sumatra,until it reaches Padang. In the south you go south through the West coast of Sumatra, this is the track that leads to Jakarta, however, in the way to Jakarta there's an isolated island called Palau Enggano. The only way to get there is either by boat or by an alternate train track that heads from Mana to the island. Then the other track reaches Jakarta. However back in the northwest the track that goes from Medan goes south going through Pematangsiantar, Tanjung Balai, Dumai and Pekanbaru until it reaches the Singapore straight where it connects Singapore to Sumatra and also again goes south, into Jakarta. This is just what has been build of the train station.

They begin the invasion in March, and by October, the rest of Cyprus is occupied and the following month annexed into Northern Cyprus. Northern Cyprus then joins the ATR as an self-sustaining region. The ATR also asks the UK if they can buy Dhekelia and, eventually, Akrotiri, but they are more interested in Dhekelia for now.
War on ISIS: As ISIS nears the border with the ATR, the ATR decides to launch an invasion of ISIS and invites Iran to help them in Iraq. Azeri-Turkish forces bombard the cities of Aleppo, Mosul, and Erbil, while ground forces are storming the borders.

It seems like a new 'hotspot' of 2017, as Croatia was the hostspot before. Government: Armando Paredes continues to crack down on drug cartels, increasing military operations in the south even further. An unexpected alliance is also done with former FARC guerrillas, whom are collaborating with the government in anti-drugs operation as they have a vast knowledge of the rainforest areas of the country. Although this movement is not well seen by all of the population, this is starting to change because Colombians are slowly seeing a positive change in their quality of life now that cartels are weaker than ever.
Military: Another 100,000 troops are recruited this year and now it is estimated that the total number of troops is above one million, with nearly 650,000 being active frontline personnel and the rest being reserve personnel. Colombia also continues to modernize by adquiring new equipment from foreign countries, particularly tanks, since they barely have any (hahaha no military stats for you yet because lazy).
Wars & Conflicts:
War of Nicaraguan Liberation: In early 2017, a terrorist attack occurs of San José, in the Costa Rican Autonomous Region. A person broke into a mall and opened fire against the civilians for no apparent reason. The perpretator was eventually shoot down by the police, not before killing 2 policemen and hurting another 3. The total death toll was 41 people. After investigating the case further, the Colombian government said that the terrorist was part of a communist nicaraguan group that attempted to gain control of Costa Rica. However, the truth is that this was a false flag attack and was only done to get an excuse to attack Nicaragua, but only a few people in the government know this. After this the Colombian government demanded an explanation of Nicaragua but of course they denied everything, so Colombia decided to declare war of it in order to "make it democratic" and "guarantee the safety of Costa Rica and the rest of Colombia". 100,000 troops cross the border into Nicaragua and they quickly head to the capital, Managua. They manage to capture the city by late July, causing Nicaragua to capitulate. After the war some border lands are integrated into Costa Rica to compesate the terrorist attacks, while a puppet government is installed in Nicaragua.
War of Colombian Unification: Since Ecuador has refused to join us peacefully, the president Armando Paredes decides to declare war on them in order to achieve the ultimate Gran Colombia goal. However, he says that Ecuador is a corrupt nation and that they are supporting drug cartels by allowing their leaders to stay in order to make up an excuse since otherwise this war would be seen as pure imperialism. War is declared on May 2nd and 200,000 troops supported by 300 AFVs and an undeterminated number of fighter jets cross the border into Ecuador on the same day, making quick advances since the attack was a surprise for the ecuadorians. While the war wages on the mainland, an small expedition force consisting of 600 troops is sent to secure the Galápagos Islands in the Pacific, in case some other country tries to take the chance and invade them. Meanwhile, Colombian forces surround Quito after heavy fighting, and Ecuador finally capitulates on November 29th. Ecuador is annexed as an autonomous region just like Costa Rica and Panama. However, Colombia is renamed to Bolivarian Federation in order to have a more inclusive name.
Venezuelan Civil War: Since our rebellion funding was succesfull we start sending support to the rebels so they are able to overthrow the venezuelan government. Although we don't officially declare war on Venezuela, around 50,000 volunteers join the civil war on the rebels' side. Additionally, several armored vehicles and combat airplanes are given to the rebels, increasing their strenght and allowing them to advance farther.
War on Fascism (Operation Baguette): Along with the rest of the world Colombia condemns the French support of ISIS and their fascist policies, however, Paredes decides to go an step further by declaring war on France and calling all the free nations to rise up against the French. Since Colombia is in the other side of the world, we can not do much but to invade their near colonies. Therefore, the French Caribbean territories (just like two islands in the Lesser Antilles) are invaded and annexed in an small operation along with French Polynesia (that huge archipelago near South Amrrica). After succesfully "liberating" the peoples of the French Antilles and Polynesia, Colombia schedules a naval invasion of French Guyana for next year.
Economy: Not much focus is put into it but it is "good enough" to say the least. When asked about the economy president Armando Paredes "Uhh..well yeah we have a tremendeous economy...really good economy...now if you excuse me I will continue to make Colombia great again!"

Space Rocket Advancement: NASA is given a massive increase in funding. The current projects are the followed:
Renewable Rockets: NASA begins work on renewable rockets. The goal here is to decrease the coast of rocket boosters that gets things into space. Rockets are only 2% fuel cost so this will decrease the cost a lot. This project will complete in 2 years.
Global Microscope: The Global Microscope is a project is to get a network of satellites that can cover a large section the world with extremely high quality pictures at all different zoom levels. The telescope is under development. The project cannot be completed until the Renewable Rockets project is complete.
Project Trash Bin: This project has the goal to clean up space junk in the orbit. The plan is to make a large sheet of think durable metal that can be folded and unfolded at will. This is for the very small debris. The debris that is large will be towed out but a tugship. The first tugship will be launched next year. The project will catch up in space junk in 15 years.
Rail Gun Project: A federal grant is given to researchers in electromagnetic technology. A ship based weapon will be complete next year with infantry weapons in 2024.

Azeri-Turk Republic[]
Government: Nothing big changes. As the ATR sees more and more colonialism, it decides it will take some land of its own in Africa. Also, it is an opportunity to regain its old land from the Ottoman Empire. In Syria and Iraq, The ATR does the best it can to push forward and occupy more ISIS land. They also set Operation Rojava into motion, which entails the invasion of the ISIS capital, Ar-Raqqah.
Azeri-Turk Conquest of Libya: The ATR declares war on Libya, and they send ships filled with Azeri-Turk forces over to the shores of Cyrenaica. They make landings in Bardiyah, Tobruk, Derna, and Benghazi. and those strips of shore gradually become larger and finally interconnect. The ATR now has a sizable amount of land in Cyrenaica, and it starts to attack cities on the Gulf of Sirte, including Sirte and Misrata. By the end of the year, they have a good foothold on the Eastern and Central shores of Libya, and they are slowly closing in on Tripoli. Azeri-Turk forces also have an easy time expanding south because of the sparsely populated land.
War on ISIS: The ATR keeps advancing through Syria, especially where ISIS is concentrated. They also invade the coastline, and much of it has been occupied. Ar-Raqqah, the headquarters of ISIS, is right on the occupational border with the ATR, so the ATR decides to conduct a monumental operation called Operation Rojava to take over Ar-Raqqah and take important ISIS figures into custody. As much of the Western world watches, the ATR bombards Ar-Raqqah with missiles, while the ground forces loop around the city, successfully sieging it. Whether or not the ATR took over Ar-Raqqah is the NPC moves maker's choice.
Irani-Arab War: Though Azeri-Turkish forces do not directly help Iran in its war with the Arab League, they send medical, economical, and military support.
Military: The military grows a lot due to wars with Libya and ISIS, and many people are not happy. The government promises that once all the conflict is over, veterans will be given numerous benefits. The ATR also says that this is important as it dreams of ending terrorism for good.
Economy: The economy begins to stagger due to the wars, and the country experiences inflation and unemployment. Istanbul now reads a higher homelessness rate, as for other cities like Ankara, Izmir, and Baku.

Bolivarian Federation (Colombia)[]
Government: Armando Paredes has now become the best president of Colombia in the last 50 years, according to multiple polls conducted all over the country (which were coincidentially funded by the government), with people highlighting his great achievements on the war on drugs and the extension of the Colombian motherland. Nevertheless, Paredes continues with the drug war as always, and keeps funding the military without forgetting about people's needs. A Referendum for officially changing the name to Bolivarian Federation and the denomyn to "Bolivarian" is also scheduled next year (even though this name wss introduced last year, it is just an alternative name and Republic of Colombia is still more widely used).
Military: Now that Colombia has greatly expanded through the region, the name of the armed forces is formally changed to "Bolivarian Army", "Bolivarian Navy" and "Bolivarian Air Force" respectively. Elements from countries such as Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador and even the recently occupied Venezuela are also being integrated into the Bolivarian Armed Forces (mostly weapons, equipments and vehicles though, since obviously not all of their soldiers would be loyal and many would have been killed during the invasions). Full military stats will be released next year.
Wars & Conflicts:
Venezuelan Civil War: We continue with the plan of taking over Venezuela by sending in 300,000 troops to fight against the government and support the rebels that we have created. After months of fighting all of Venezuela is under Colombian and rebel control. Colombians have started a transitiom period with Venezuelan rebels in order to allow the integration of the country into the Bolviarian Federation (I created those rebels so they would obviously agree on this) but for now Venezuela remains occupied and it will most likely become part of the Federation until the next year.
Operation Baguette/War on Fascism: The second phase of Operation Baguette begins as an amphibian attack is launched on French Guyana. As our Navy succesfully arrives to the coast, 90,000 troops land on the colony and start to "liberate it", occupying many coastal areas with ease. By the end of the year all of French Guyana is under Colombian control and it remains occupied until next year.
Operation "N.I.C.E.M.E.M.E": 75,000 troops are sent to take back Panama from the French imperialists, the troops attack from two fronts; From Costa Rica in the north and Colombia in the south. A couple ships are also sent to support this attack, while the Air Force is sent to destroy French ships in the area, even using kamikaze tacticts as last resource. By the end of the year most of French vessels had been destroyed and around 65% of Panama was under Bolivarian control once again.
Operation 7-1: Colombia is now ready to begin Operation 7-1 on the next year. It consists of a full-scale invasion of Brazil with Mexico and Argentina, and even some other countries if they agree to join the plan. Most of the army receives training in rainforests in order to increade their effectivity during their attack on northern Brazil, which is all part of Amazonas.

Indonesian-Siamese War: In Middle January Indonesia declares waron Cambodia with no warning, Indonesia starts by blockading Cambodia and puting and eembargo on Thailand. 200,000 troops are sent to Cambodia, they manage to capture the coast by February. By March all of Southern Cambodia was captured, at the same time, war was declared on Thailand. Bangkok was bommed,and 50,000 troops quickly came to capture the city. Indonesia also blockades Thailand. All of Southern Thailand is captured by June, meanwhile in Cambodia, it is all occupied. After the defeat of Cambodia, All 200,000 troops from Cambodia were focused on Thailand. 400,000 more troops were sent, capturing middle Thailand by September. In October Cambodia is annexed into Indonesia, while all of thailand is occupied in November. Later it is annexed in December.
War for Pacific Domination: Due to Pacific Islands not wanting to join, thay are all invaded, also to protect them from the Mexicans. First 50,000 land in Fiji in March, 25,000 and 25,000 were sent to Kiribati and Tuvalu. In March 10,000 were sent to Nauru, occupying it. To Tokelau, Samoa and Tonga 10,000 were sent respectivly. In July they were all annexed.
War for Indian Domination: Due to Indian Ocean Islands not wanting to join and also to protect them from France, Indian Ocean Islands are invaded. 200,000 troops from Thailand were retreated, to Comoros 30,000 troops were sent. Indo-Melanesian Conquest of Siam: They keep pushing into Thailand farther until they manage to fully occupy it in April, 2019. They are both annexed in August, 2019. After the annexation all the 600,000 troops are withdrawn into Borneo.
Indo-Melanesian Conquest of Kenya: In order to help their good ally, South Africa 50,000 troops are sent for an invasion of Kenya. In August They land in Bombassa one of Kenya's major cities. From here troops expand and occupy all the Kenyan coast. From here 50,000 more troops were sent. By October half of Kenya was occupied and troops were still being sent up north. By November it was fully occupied and turned into a Statelite State of the Indo-Melanesian Repiblic.
Operation Tiger: War is declared upon us. Now we shall attack. The 300,000 Troops previously stationed in Taiwan head for the Southern Japanese Island, capturing it. And since Japan has all its troops in Indonesia it is pretty easy to occupy. They start bombing Osaka and Tokyo. 600,000 troops from Thailand are sent to Eastern Philippines and 400,000 from Southern Borneo are sent to Southern Philippines. Tanks are deployed to counter the Japanese attack in Sulawesi. 3,000 Tanks manage to stop Japanese expansion in Sulawesi. While Brunei is severely bombed. 500,000 troops previously from Korea are sent to Hokkaido. The Indonesian Navy blockades Japan. 100,000 troops from Palau also arrive at Western Philippines, occupying most of the Archipelago. 75,000 troops are also sent to Brunei which occupy the territory.We send in Troops to Borneo, New Guinea and Java to protect them from a Japanese invasion. Because of this Japanese aggression, Next Turn Troops will be much higher.
Operation 7-1: The Indo-Melanesian Republic in order to maintain good relations with South America decides to invade Brazil. 100,000 troops are sent to occupy the territory. Since most Brazilian troops are likely fighting the Argentinians or have died by the end of the year two-thirds of Namibia is captured.

Government: Armando Paredes announces that he will seek reelection in 2020 as an independent once again. Nothing much happens in government affairs and Paredes continues to focus on healthcare, military and the war on drugs.
Integration of New Lands: Now that they have been stabilized, Venezuela and French Guyana are annexed by the Bolviarian Federation as autonomous regions just like Ecuador, Panama, Guyana, etc. As always, all the military equipment still useful is integrated to become part of the Bolviarian Armed Forces. Also, we annex all of Angola as colony since it was given to us by the Japanese, as explained below.
Military: We continue to modernize the military in all aspects, while building up new vessels and aircraft at faster rate every year to meet our nation's requirements. Our total mumber of troops is nearly 1 million by now, with around 700,000 being active and the rest reserves (My population is over 110 million by now so that's not even 1% of my total population kkk). More detailed military stats will be revealed next year (I'm still too lazy to add them hah rip).
Wars & Conflicts:
Operation N.I.C.E.M.E.M.E: Since France is now getting rekt in its own mainland, we retake the remaining parts of Panama still under French control with ease since most of their troops have probably withdrawed from the area by now. Most troops that participated in this Operation are sent to the Brazilian front, but 30,000 volunteers are still sent to fight in Brittany along with Mexican and American troops.
Operation 7-1: After years of preparation, Operation 7-1 finally begins as ~450,000 troops cross the border into Brazil from multiple points, supported by the Air Force and a large number of tanks, armored fighting vehicles and artillery pieces. Since our troops have been trained in guerrilla warfare in the amazonan rainforest, they manage to advance further into Brazil, eventually taking the cities of Manaos and Manapá by the end of the year. Our surprise movement and the fact that north Brazil has little to no defences (most of them are in Africa or defending from Argentina in the south) should allow us to take as much land as possible considering most of north Brazil is rainforest with just a few cities.
Operation Fatherland: Our first unjustified war consists of an invasion of African territories with the goal of establishing colonies. The first country attacked is The Gambia, which was easily defeated with just 10,000 trooops. The next one is Senegal, where more reinforcements were needed to speed up the operation. In total, 45,000 soldiers were deployed and both Senegal and The Gambia are annexed as colonies by the end of the year.
Operation KKAPinda: 20,000 troops are sent to effectively claim ownership over the former Japanese colony of Angola, as they have agreed on ceding it to us (I asked TMG and he agreed, you can ask him if you want to and I already told Thunder anyway). Besides of this mvoement that was only to secure our new territory, we remain neutral in the war between Japan and Indonesia.
Economy: Armando Paredes says that thanks to increased trade with Mexico and the USA, the economy is better than ever, which is partially true since the economy is in its highest level in recent decades, although it has probably reached its peak already.

War for Sudan: 400,000 Egyptian troops pour into Sudan, occupying the coastline and acquiring Port Sudan by mid-February. Dongola and El-Samar fall with a swift land invasion, and Kassala and Gederef fall soon after, surrounding the Sudanese in Khartoum from the north, east, and south, only after the capture of Sinja and Rabak. The Egyptian Army advances toward Khartoum after Rabak falls, while another Egyptian force advances from El Damar. Khartoum is attacked and flanked, and with the Sudanese soldiers so easily divided, Khartoum falls, and with it the Sudanese government. By November, a treaty is signed, and Sudan is annexed by Egypt with some autonomous privileges.
War against Saudi Arabia: A massive surprise attack is made on the Saudis, with 800,000 troops landing on Saudi soil. Saudi troops are obliterated as Jeddah, Mekkah and Medina are all taken over. Government: The plans for the creation of a great Central African nation started in 2016, but because of internal friction, it couldn't be started until now. The 2016 general elections were pushed off until 2017, where Étienne Tshisekedi won the elections and became the President of the DRC. Under his rule, the situation of Congo didn't change, instead worsened. His term was until 2021, but due to dissatisfaction, protest were launched late into December 2019 to impeach him from his position and start a new election. However, as he was unwilling to lose his position, violence broke out during the protests and 12 people died as they were shot. This lead to the start of the Great Congolese Revolution on January 4, 2020, lead by Alexandre Mbita Mosi, a rising politician in this period. Though it is called a revolution, it was only 8 days long as Alexandre took control of the military and proclaimed a new Republic under his absolute rule, saying that instead of internal friction, a strong ruler is needed. Though it is called a Republic, it is more like and absolute monarchy. Even though it is like that, as he managed to fix the internal problems of the DRC (now GCR) in a short period, people didn't complain.
Military: After the takeover of Alexandre, the military leaders are replaced with people loyal to him to prevent more problems. Seeing as the Republic is surrounded by possible enemies on all sides, general conscription is started in the military, with people needing 2 years of military service after reaching 18 years old. Because of this, the land forces of the Republic exponentially increase. Equipment is bought from foreign forces, strengthening the military even more. Currently, the military overview of the Republic is like this:

Wars and conflicts
Invasion of Zambia (January-February): 30,000 forces pour into the country of Zambia, with the goal of occupying the entire country. As Zambia was weaker than the DRC even before the revolution, the forces manage to occupy the eastern parts of the country in a short period, occupying cities like Kasama, Mansa, Chinsali or the city of Chipata in the Malawi-Zambia border region, while also occupying cities like Ndola or Kitwe close to the border. In a period of a month however, the country with the exceptionn of the area around the capital Lusaka is occupied by the Congolese forces, leaving little resistance. In a 7 day long siege, the capital is captured and Zambia capitulates on February 17th, with the Great Congolese Republic annexing the nation as an autonomous zone.
Acquisition of Uganda (March-May): Ever since Étienne took over, the relations between the DRC and Uganda became better. Because of mutual interests, they both joined the African Treaty Organization, but after the Revolution, the relations worsened and friction started between the two nations. Rumors are fabricated that Uganda wishes to declare war on the GCR for Étienne to come back as President, but it is all for the plan to acquire Uganda. Under the rumors, the Ugandan Government is influenced, though they don't take action. However, because of the rumors, citizens protest against the government, and with GCR hidden support, a coup d'etat is launched, which succeeds because of the situation's suddenness. The new government, which is essentially a puppet of Alexandre/the Great Congolese Republic, begans talks with the GCR government to join them. As it is a play to make it seem legitimate, Uganda joins the GCR as an autonomous area, similar to Zambia.

Economy: During the period the DRC was under the rule of Étienne, the economy was steadily growing, maintaining a 9% growth rate. However, after the country was taken over by Alexandre, the economy, that changed to a 12% growth rate, revitalizing the economy of the country. Originally, the 2020 estimate for the GDP was $85.410 billion, but after the merging of the economy of the GCR, Uganda, Zambia and the Central African Republic early on, this number changed to $128.158 billion. With this growth, the originally pitiful $875 GDP per capita of the country has also changed to $1,584, though this is still one of the lowest in the world. However, this number is expected to grow quickly under Alexandre's rule due to the growing infrastructural level.
Infrastructure: To make the rate of living much better, Alexandre declares the Congolese Revitalization Project, improving the roads, structures and buildings across the country, but it is estimated that in order to compare to other African powers, a lot of time is needed.
Population: With the living rate improved a bit and the economy growing, the Republic enters a period of quick population growth. After the absorption of the population of Uganda, the Central African Republic and Zambia, the population of the country is 161,918,150; and is estimated to continue growing.
Religion: Inside the Great Congolese Republic, the majority of the population follows Christianity, with a Catholic majority inside Uganda and Congo, while Zambia and Central Africa are predominantly Protestant. There are major Anglican, Sunni, Shia religious communities along with other Christian denominations. There is also a small group of animists and other indigenous religions.
Language: The linguistic breakdown of the country is quite diverse, as there are over a hundred different languages spoken in the territory of the Republic. Universally, 82.5% of the population can speak either English or French, while indigenous languages, like Swahili, Kituba, Lingala, Bantu, Bemba, Nyanja and Sangho also make up a large part of the population.
Education: To improve literacy rate, education between the age of 6 and 18 is made compulsory universally and a large amount of government-reliant education buildings are built across the country. This proves to be profitable, as even with the quickly growing population 62.3% of them are literate, and this amount is growing year by year.

Government: The presidential elections were held last year, and Erdogan won by a landslide. He promises to 'Make Turkic Great Again!', following the Trump's iconic slogan. The Treaty of Iskenderun is signed in Iskenderun, and it proclaims the official end of ISIS. The Acts of Isparta come into effect, and The War of Isparta is declared against Bulgaria, which is occupied by the end of the year.
Treaty of Iskederun: The Treaty of Iskenderun deals with ISIS. Aras will annex their occupied lands in both Iraq and Syria AND the port of Latakia in return for war reparations from Aras. Aras will offer an Non-aggression pact request to Syria, and it will reopen borders once everything settles down. Also, Aras will make sure nobody threatens Syria, though this does not mean it is an Aratian protectorate.
Acts of Isparta: Aras welcomes Bosnia, Malta, and Tunisia into protectorateship, and promises that they will protect them from any outside forces, prominently Italy or Serbia. Aras also condemns Italy's invasions of Albania, Croatia, and Slovenia, but does not take any military action.
Bosnia: Bosnia is welcomed as Erdogan and the foreign minister visit Sarajevo. Bosnia was Erdogan's first stop in him visiting the states of the Acts. Erdogan and Bosnia's president discuss trade and freedom of movement as well as the clauses of being a protectorate. Aras is scheduled to send Bosnia economic help, especially now as Bosnia used to rely on Croatia for trade through boats, but now with it being invaded by Italy, it can no lonher depend on Croatia. Plans are made for the Neum, the only city on the coast of Bosnia, to be developed into a major trading hub for Bosnia.
Malta: Malta is welcomed by Aras in Valetta, Erdogan's second stop. Aras' main concern with Malta is Italy, so Aras will send some battleships on Malta's north coast to help. Flights to and from Malta and Aras become daily.
Tunisia: Tunisia is welcomed in Tunis, Erdogan's third and last stop. Tunisia and Aras discuss opening the border with the Overseas Territory of Libya, which has started applying for territory status. Defensive initiatives are also taken against Italy in case of an invasion.
War of Isparta: Because Bulgaria has denied to join into protectorateship by Aras, Aras declares war on them in late march. 150,000 troops stationed in Edirne and Kirklareli march across the border and begin to invade Bulgaria. another 200,000 troops stay in Aras to defend and go into Bulgaria if needed. Burgas, Plovdiv, and Varna are easily taken over. By the end of the year, All of Bulgaria is captured and, in november, Sofia capitulates to Aratian forces.
Second Acts of Isparta: The Second Acts of Isparta deal with the partition of Bulgaria. The provinces of Burgas, Silven, Yambol, Haskovo, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Kardzhali, Pazardzhik, and Smolian will be annexed into Aras as the territory of Eastern Rumelia. The rest of Bulgaria EXCLUDING the province of Blagoevgrad will form the Aratian State of Bulgaria, and FYROM + Blagoevgrad will form the Aratian State of Western Rumelia, both being satellite states of Aras.
Military: The military continues to grow due to conscriptions for the War of Isparta, but at a much slower pace. After Bulgaria, Erdogan has said that Aras will try not to be too
Economy: The economy stays relatively the same, but the government begins to make attempts at increasing tourism, especially in the south and west coasts and Cyprus. Aras also begins plans for the Trans-Caspian Highway, which will connect Aras to Turkmenistan and, ultimately, the rest of the Turkic Council.
Trans-Caspian Highway: After being mere rumours for the past two year, the Aratian government and Turkic Council chairman announces that the Gurgan-Guwlymayak Causeway or Trans-Caspian Highway will be built in cooperation by the governments of the Turkic Council and possible the Aras-Egypt-Iran Alliance. A highway will be built from the eastern tip of Azerbaijan to the western coast of Turkmenistan, and will thus connect Aras to the rest of the Turkic Council. In the future, The Turkic Council even hopes to undergo a massive land reclamation project to make an artificial land bridge that expands upon the highway.

Turkic Council: Relations increase, and the countries become increasingly interconnected. Aras encourages the countries of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to negotiate with Tajikistan to sort out the enclave situation between the three.

Operation 7-1: Bolivarian troops advance farther into Brazil, heading to the east with the objective of taking the city of Recife. 100,000 troops are sent as reinforcement, which allows Bolivaria to make huge wins just like in the last year. We try to occupy as much land as possible before Mexico or Argentina do (of course we don't say this on public for obvious reasons).
Operation Paloma: War is declared on Peru. Only 175,000 troops are sent since the main foucs is still Brazil. Much of northern Peru is occupied, especifically the Loreto province.
Operation Pepe: 35,000 troops are sent to invade the African nation of Ghana. Since it is very weak it falls quickly and it is annexed as colony.

Operation Zion: Egypt declares war on Israel, blitzing the south of Israel and taking Beer Sheba with 300,000 troops. Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are attacked, with naval and air support Jerusalem and the West Bank fall to the Egyptians, while Tel Aviv is surrounded. After the fall of Nazareth, Tel Aviv falls, and Egyptian forces move on into Lebanon. Israel surrenders, a treaty is signed, and Israel is annexed with autonomous priviledges.
Operation Switzkrieg: Egypt declares war on Lebanon. Troops from Israel storm Lebanon from the south, while a naval invasion secures the north. Beirut is surrounded, and as the attack takes place, the Lebanese leade4rs attempt to flee the country on a plane. The plane is shot down. Lebanon surrenders. A treaty is signed, and Lebanon is annexed.
Operation Afriqia Wahid: Egypt declares war on Chad. 300,000 troops storm Chad, easily taking the south-western parts of the country and then moving along the south to N'Djamena. At N'Djamena, The Chadians have fortified and regrouped, and so the city is not taken over yet. However, the north is being taken over. Egypt demands their surrender.
Operation Afriqia Athnan: Egypt declares war on South Sudan. Because of the instability in the region, Egyptian forces are able to blitz the South Sudanese forces, taking the rest of the Nile and pushing through most of the country, with only 150,000 troops. Egyptian forces reach Juba, demanding that South Sudan surrenders, after attacking the city relentlessly. Eventually, the nation surrenders, a treaty is signed, and South Sudan is annexed by Egypt.
Operation Afriqia Thlath: Egypt declares war on the Central African Republic. Through Chad and South Sudan, Egypt sends 200,000 troops to take Bangui. The West is quickly overrun from troops entering through Chad, while troops passing through South Sudan attack through the east. Eventually, Bangiu is reached, and attacked. Leaders attempt to flee, but are stopped and captured. CAR surrenders. A treaty is signed and the Central African Republic is annexed.

Japan: Japan loses the Philippines, but manages to drive the Indonesians out of their mainland. They also agree on selling the RoC to the DRC as they have no chances of holding into it anymore.
Pakistan: They decline India's proposal.
Finland: Helsinki falls. The Finnish Army is forced to reathreat to the north, recruiting some partisans in their way. Most of Finland is now under Russian control, but the Finnish resistance in the north will still give them some trouble for at least onr year before they can succesfully take control of all of Finland.
Serbia: They agree on becoming a russian protectorate as they feel threatened by Turkish expansion in the region.

Government: Even though only one year has passed since the Great Congolese Revolution, the political situation inside the country has calmed down due to the great efforts off Alexandre’s trusted subordinates across the country. Military: Because of the compulsory conscription between 18 years old and 20 years old, the overall military strength of the country has grown by a large amount, but there is still much disparity between other growing powers across the world or even other African Great Powers, like the ambitious Egyptian Empire, Tanzania and South Africa. Despite this fact, it is still a large boost compared to 5 years before or before the revolution, making it possible to do military expansion to fulfill our ambitions. To make up with the disparity in equipment, a large amount is bought from other Caracas Pact members. As the military has big supplies, people across the country join in abundance. Invasion of Cameroon: As the first goal of our expansion to defend African territory from the foreign invaders, we declare war on Cameroon early on this year. 150,000 troops are sent to the battlefield to gain experience (only in a real war they will become a real army) and territory, and in a three month campaign, the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé is occupied by them, while in another three months, the largest city of Cameroon, Douala is also occupied by the Congolese Army. By the end of the year, most of Southern Cameroon is under control of the Congolese, up to Tibati / Banyao or Meiganga, including coastal areas. The Great Congolese Republic is demanding the surrender of Cameroon to them for the annexation of the country as a semi-autonomous region.
Invasion of Zambia: At the same time as the Invasion of Cameroon, we also reveal our ambitions towards Zambia, declaring war on them as well in fear of other countries invading them first despite their unsignificance in the current division of Africa, sending 150,000 troops there as well. Invasion of Uganda: As the coup d'etat last year wasn't a success, starting in March, the Great Congolese Republic begins the invasion of Uganda, sending 80,000 troops towards it. The invasion begins on the northern territory of Uganda (north of Lake Albert), taking small border towns, like Paidha, Nebbi or Koboko, while also surrounding a small city closer to the border Arua. After the success of the city's occupation, everything west of the White Nile. After this, the invasion's center shifts to the southern territories, easily taking cities like Kabale, Rushenyi, Mitoma, Chanjojo and Kasese, while a relatively larger city, Fort Portal took a bit more to fully occupy because of resistance from the citizens. Following these actions, both Kampala and Jinja (which the A109 Highway/Kampala-Jinja Highway is named after) are surrounded by the Congolese forces and are forced to surrender and be annexed into the Great Congolese Republic as an autonomous territory.

A lot of resources are put into Crispr. Mainly into medicinal purposes along with genome editing. The first goal has been completed and it is put into effect. Project Tower of Babel (space elevator): A project is proposed to Germany. The project would see the contruction of the fisrt space elevator in history on a floating platform in the pacific ocean on the equator. With the completion of carbon nanotubes it is a possibility. The elevator would be strong enough to bring not just people, but satalites as well to space. If approved it would most likely be completed in 17 years.
Rail Gun Project: A federal grant is given to researchers in electromagnetic technology. A ship based weapon will be complete next year with infantry weapons in 2024.

War against the ATO (Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania): As Madagascar and Algeria have been or are planned to be taken out by other powers, Only Ethiopia, Somalia, and Tanzania are left. African troops in Somalia are no match for the African forces as reinforcements arrive and take over Mogadishu, forcing the Somalians to surrender. They are annexed into the United Republics of Africa, will all human rights protected, and statehood is grated to them a few months later. Meanwhile, forces flank the Ethiopians from the east, allowing forces from the west to seize Addis Ababa and force the surrender of the Ethiopians. Much like Somalia, they are annexed into the United Republics of Africa, will all human rights protected, and statehood is grated to them a few months later. Tanzania is invaded from the south, with Quelimane and Nampula being taken. After taking over formerly Mozambiquian territories, Africa forces advance to meet to Tanzanians at Dar es Salaam, where a massive FORCE IS GROWING. They meet at the battle of Dar es Salaam, where the Africans are forced to retreat and regroup while the African Air Force bombs their forces and the African Navy blockades their port.
War against Central African rebels: After the assassination of the "Free Central Africa" leader, blame is put on the African government, and people rebel. Further investigation reveals that a third party is responsible for the attack, but the rebels do not care. The African government sends 200,000 troops to actively suppress these rebels. They succeed. The Central Africans are given more autonomy (is that even possible, I gave them so much already), guaranteed (LIKE SERIOUSLY GUARATEED) human rights, etc.
War against Israelite Rebels: The Israelites got angry ad rebelled for no reason, even after a series of massive reforms made Jerusalem much more protected and gave Israel massive amounts of autonomy. The rebels are crushed after 200,000 troops and pro-government supporters stop the violence and end the rebellion.
War against Botswana: As the capital, Gaborone, is already taken over, the Africa army manages to take over Botswana very quickly. After the city of Muan falls in the north, the African Army soon proclaims victory over the Botswanans. Botswana is annexed into the United Republics of South Africa, with autonomy, guaranteed human rights, and republichood soon after.
War against Zambia: In order to prevent the Kongo from expanding any further, Zambia is invaded with a surprise attack, with the air force bombing the capital, Lusaka, while 100,000 troops storm their way through, flanking the Zambian army in the east and the west and then storming Lusaka from both sides, obliterating the Zambian army, forcing their surrender, and annexing the nation into the United Republics of south Africa, with autonomy, human rights, and full republichood soon after.
War against Indonesia: (I'm presuming that Indonesia is invading Namibia, so this is just me invading and annexing Namibia.) African forces move through Angola and South Africa to invade Namibia. From the east, the South African manage to forge a path to Windhoek, and as an intense battle ensues, the Angolan African Army storms in from the north, flanking the Angolans and the Indonesians, moving across the national parks, and forcing Namibia's surrender. Although Namibia has surrendered, Indonesia is still in African land, and so the Indonesians are forced out of Namibia. (Note that Indonesia is also at war with the Persabians, and they surrendered anyway.)
Nigerian War: Burkina Faso is forcefully taken over, with Nigerian forces amassing around the capital and forcing the leaders to surrender. Burkina Faso is annexed by Nigeria. Meanwhile, Niger's main population centers have been taken over, so as Nigerian and African forces take over more of Niger, Niger unconditionally surrenders, being annexed by the Nigerians.

Invasion of Indonesia: 200,000 troops are sent to invade the colonies of Indonesia this includes, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Reunion, Mauritius, Comoros and Seychelles. All these territories are occupied and annexed. Plans are made to invade Sumatra. The navy patrols around Sri Lanka to detect any incoming Indonesian ships and the Air force does the same with some plans bombing the island of Sumatra from Sri Lanka.

Government: In the past two years, Mexico wasn't able to do anything due to sprawling protests all across the country against Mamerto Puterto, after many repression, the Army finally agreed to support the reinstatement of the republic, as Puterto's wars were a waste of manpower. Mexico reforms into a Republic with Eduardo Putón as its president.
Military: The Military receives heavy reforms, and most reserves are sent away. Although Puterto's administration is gone, it is still of interest to keep holdings in Brazil, the troops keep marching south. As the new government seeks fairly undisturbed isolation, the Military is still heavily funded, specially in the technological area.
Diplomacy: We accept to join the ICSA and ICTO.
Peace to Brazil: We demand the city of Fortaleza and the area around it to be part of Mexico.
Economy: The economy redirects spending in the military and other Puterto programs into welfare, public infrastructure and the environment. State-owned companies are sent over to foreign countries to exploit their resources and try reduce the pollution in Mexico.

Operation Bonzi: In India, we make large advancements using a force of 3,500,000 soldiers with each of them having a railgun, along with 1000 bombers, 500 fighters, 100 attack helicopters. The Indian coast is also blockaded, an embargo is placed (decimating their economy). As far south as Kolkata has been occupied.
Operation Buddy: We send 500,000 soldiers to each rebellion in our territory (1,000,000 total, since there are the Korean and Burmese rebels), with all of them also being equipped with railguns. Due to a lack of technology in both rebellions' weaponry, they are easy defeated and crushed within a matter of months.
Technology & Research: With the combined powerhouse that are the Japanese and Chinese economies, Railgun Is are produced as if the third World War had just begun. We now have over eight million railguns.
Diplomacy:
Indonesia: Since Indonesia surrendered, all of the their land, except Papua New Guinea and the Maldives, is annexed. PNG is given to Australia, while the Maldives is given to Persabia.

United Republics of Africa[]
Government:An extensive spy network is in development, in the great powers on the world. This is in case they betray the African government. The URA leads the world in tourism, with Cairo and Alexandria becoming massive tourist hotspots. This heavily benefits the Tourism industry. The Government allows for the expansion of the military industry, allowing for the fast production of military equipment. Instead of conscription into the military, the government now offers jobs in factories making military equipment or jobs in the military in the maintenance sector. The process of annexing South Africa begins, with the estimated finishing time at October 2024. Ghana is given to Nigeria, and Angola is given to Namibia. (States on map. Loli, please use the map.)
Military: The African population has reached 235 million. Manpower is estimated to be 120 million, with those fit for service at 70 million. 5.1 million reach conscription age annually, and conscription is compulsory. The URA has 4 million active troops, with 3 million in the reserve. The African Land Force has 12000 tanks, 21000 AFVs, 2000 SPGs, 10000 Towed-Artillery, and 6000 MLRSs. The African Naval Force has 5 Aircraft Carriers, 100 Frigates, 75 Destroyers, 75 Corvettes, 140 Submarines, 700 CDCs, and 300 MWAs. The African Air Force has 1130 fighters, 900 FWAAs, 800 transport aircraft, 1300 trainer aircraft, 1200 Helicopters, and 750 Attack Helicopters.
War against the remains of the ATO: As the war continues, some African troops withdraw to secure a few vassals with instability. Meanwhile, the rest continue attacking, but the Tanzanian forces manage to recruit thousands more, and push back. However, the African government declares war on Kenya, going through Kenya to defeat the Tanzanians. Although it puts more pressure on the African military, the endeavor is successful and Kenya and Tanzania both fall in the same month. Kenya is annexed, with the Burundi-Rwanda land going to the new Tanzanian vassal.
War against Malawi: Troops attack from the north and the south, slowly closing in on Lilongwe, before the Malawian government surrenders and is occupied fully until Tanzania is defeated. Malawi joins the Tanzanian vassal.
War against Lesotho: Lesotho's capital is Maseru is forcefully taken over, while other population centers in Lesotho are also taken over. Lesotho surrenders and is annexed into the South African vassal.
War against Morocco: With Nigerian assistance, troops land in the north and the south of the nation, taking Tangier and Tantan. Troops surround Rabat, taking it over, as troops in the South move north and east over the Algerian border. Eventually, the coastline is taken over, troops continue to move forward, and Morocco surrenders. They are vassalized.
War against Algeria: Knowing that the Aratians will invade Algeria, and also knowing that they will not be able to defeat the Algerians in under one year, the African government decides to help themselves. Attacks through the south begin, and as it is sparsely populated, it is taken over quickly. Meanwhile, troops from the Moroccan invasion spill over into Algeria, defeating the Algerians in the north and forcefully taking over the western half of the nation. Algeria surrenders, and is split between the URA and Aras, with Aras taking most of the populated areas. Morocco gains some of the Algerian coast, and a new Tuareg vassal state is created in the south.
War against Greece: As the Greek situation escalates, Greece is invaded. After the south of the nation is invaded, an unofficial Greek government in favor of the Africans is created.
Technology: Money is heavily invested in technology.
Inter-Continental Space Agency: Some SS parts have been launched into space, and are being constructed. The African section is almost complete, while we are waiting for the Ojedian section to be launched up into orbit. As Aras and Persabia are part of this now, we expect that they will contribute with their own sections if they want to.
Fusion Research: Massive gains are made in research. Top scientists are recruited from around the globe. Magnetic confinement, as seen in ITER, has thus far been the preferred approach to fusion energy. However, the potential of lasers is now being explored in greater depth. Following years of engineering and construction, a major new research facility is operational in Cape Town, South Africa. This aims to demonstrate the feasibility of commercial-level fusion. The High Power laser Energy Research facility (HiPER) uses a laser-driven inertial confinement reactor. Lasers are fired into a central core, where they collide with a single fuel pellet, compressing it to high density. A second laser is then fired, in a more intense pulse with nanosecond precision. This ignites the fuel, raising the core temperature to over a hundred million degrees celsius – hotter than the center of the Sun – allowing fusion reactions to occur. Helium is formed, releasing energetic neutrons in the process. These neutrons are captured, generating electricity. HiPER's "fast ignition" approach uses much smaller lasers than previous designs, yet generates power of the same magnitude. This offers a total "fusion gain" that is much higher than earlier devices, with a ten-fold reduction in construction costs. HiPER is only a prototype – but when fully developed, fusion will become a revolutionary form of energy production. Central Asian War (Aras & Central Asian Union vs Kazakhstan): The Treaty of Dushanbe is signed: The CAU will annex all of Kazakhstan except for the city of Aktau, which will be Aratian territory. The war ends and reparations begin, with the Central Asian government helping Kazakhstan.
Operation Ibergham (Aras vs Algeria): The plan is put into action, with Aratian and Tunisian forces rolling through the border. In the south, a lot of land is taken, as it is sparsely populated. However, in the north, only land up to the city of Setif is occupied, while airstrikes are conducted on the cities of Algiers and Oran.
Operation Aziz ve Prens (Aras vs São Tomé and Principe): Not really a war, but 1000 or so Aratian forces land on the island nation of Sao Tome and Principe and just proclaim it Aratian land, and thus annexing it (also the island of Bioko was supposed to be Russia's which is now therefore supposed to be mine just saying).
