Eberland (Eh - br La nd) officially The Kingdom of Eberland is a sovereign state in the northern part of Europe. It has a population of about 3.9 million. It is a member of the EU, NATO, and the schengen area. It has a seat on the UN, and is recognized by all member states.

History

War of 1706

There was a distinct culture forming in the northern part of Germany. People were scared. There was some fighting, mostly battles in the region. The first battle was The Battle of Bremen. It was a bloody battle. Over 4,000 people died that day. The people in the northern part of Lower Saxony considered themselves Eberlish, after King Jack Eberla.

Treaty of Chaladar

On the 15th of September, 1710, the War of 1706 was officially ended. Both sides signed a treaty stating that the Kingdom of Eberland exists and gets to annex their claims to land.

It also stated that no wars will be fought on the mainland. The Eberlanders made this day a Holiday. They call it "Day of First Rule" as that is the first day of their independence. Every One hundred years, they have a special celebration called "100 Year Rule". It is on this day that everyone comes to the capital, Everbe, to celebrate another 100 years of rule.

Treaty of Bremen

On the 30th of March, 1747, a referendum was held whether or not to join Eberland. 50.679% of Bremen citizens voted to be annexed into Eberland. 5 years later all the paperwork was signed and it became official. In those five years, public support grew from 51% to 63%.

War of 1866

Eberland Invaded some land on the Scandinavian Peninsula. Norway was not so happy about this. They came to an agreement in 1860 that the land would be split up between Norway and Eberland. 5 years later, the scandinavian district wanted to split away from Eberland. After fighting for 3 years, they finally broke away in the Treaty of Teral.

Treaty of Teral

After the War of 1866, Eberway broke away from Eberland. Both sides signed the Treaty of Teral, which stated that Eberway will be an independent nation on the Scandinavian Peninsula. To this day Eberway is still an independent nation, with close ties to Norway.

African Colonization

In the early 1890s, Eberland colonized apart of Africa. They colonized the area that would in our time become known as the Western Sahara.

Nazi Invasion

On February 13th, 1939, Nazi Germany was planning to take over all of Eberland. King Gerold Elerbe-Hullburg knew the threat. He ordered all documents and important government items to be moved secretly to Lake Ever, away from the capital, Everbe. March 3rd of 1940 came and the Nazis won the battle of Bremen. This was a major threat to Eberland as they have just lost a district. The Eberland forces keep fighting, but that was not enough. The Nazis took over the southern part of Mainland Eberland. This brought Eberland into WWII

The Space Race

In 1990 Eberland launched its first rocket into space. It was successful, in that it didn't explode. Eberland would continue to impress nations on how fast they were moving through the tech tree. Only 15 years after launching their own rocket, they landed on the moon, with 3 men on board. Then in 2010 they launched another rocket to the moon with the hopes of setting up the first moon colony. They landed on the moon successfully and started to build up its base.

They continue to support their moon colony with goods shipping in monthly. This moon colony has changed the UN's Outer Space Treaty. Eberland recognizes their moon colony as another district, the Ebermoon District.

Keplearth Colonization

Eberlanders didn't have anywhere else to go. They partnered up with SpaceX to go on an interstellar fight to Keplearth, a newly discovered planet with human-like beings on it.

3...2...1..LAUNCH! The Eberla X 21 was launched. The Eberla X 21 is a revolutionary spacecraft that can go beyond lightspeed. Well, kinda. It is able to warp time in such a way that if it was traveling very, very, very close to lightspeed, it could go to lightspeed and beyond. It is very risky though. The ship could depressurize, or lose all of its air (as in the stuff we breathe in). Fortunately, this never happened, as the Eberla X 21 was able to reach Keplearth.

Modern Times

Today, Eberland is a highly developed country with very high HDI, and a good GDP. With a very high population density, there are very few farms and large nature reserves. There are many airports, highways, train networks.

Eberland is divided into 5 mainland districts, and 3 outer districts. Each mainland district has a district capital. Each district capital is the main economic and administrative hub for each district. And what about the outer districts? Well, those are Eberland's space colonies.

Eberlair is a for-profit airline company. Eberlair runs planes in the Boeing family. Their hub is located in Turmenten, North Coast.

Kwikair

Kwikair is a budget airline with low costs. Kwikair runs only Boeing 747s.

	ESBS is a Sports Network in Eberland. It runs mostly sports broadcasts, and interviews. They also run ads.		24/7 News is a news broadcast. They have Good Morning Eberland (GME) starting at 6:00 AM, and ending at 8:00 AM. At noon they have their midday news. And finally at 5:00 PM, they have their night news. This channel runs ads.
	ESBS 2 is a Sports Network in Eberland. It runs mostly sports broadcasts, extra footage, and documentaries. This channel also runs ads		EuroNews is a European News Broadcast. They have their morning news at 7:00 AM, and have their nightly news at 6:00 PM. This channel runs ads.
Movies & Shows			King News is an Eberland news broadcast. They only broadcast in Eberland and Eberway.
	EBS is an everything broadcast. Their shows vary, but mostly have movies on their station. This channel runs ads.
