Esceosian is the official language of Esceosia. Outside Esceosia it is spoken by communities of Esceosian people in neighboring countries - especially Cheenarn and Austria. The Esceosian language evolved from the Hungarian language merging with other - mostly Indo-European - languages. Because of the creation of this new language, a new group of Neo Finno-Ugric and Neo Ugric languages was created. It is one of the few languages of Europe that are not part of the Indo-European family.
The Esceosian name for the language is esceosi or esceosi nyelv. The word esceosi is also used as an English word to refer to Esceosian people as an ethnic group, or the language.
