  • January Uprising(Conflict)
    • Ankhor and Platine Mapping two of the main leaders of the 2nd TMC have a fight over how the community should be run and how it will be run in the future and the solutions to the key issues of TMC. Platine demoted Ankhor Mapping after there Argument on Skype. Many mappers on TMC supported Ankhor more then Platine so they began to protest Platine and also the fact that Platine promised elections that never came. After a few hours TMC was full of spam and arguing over the Ankhor issue and many mappers thinking that TMC was falling apart again left the community to make there own and some members even called for an uprising. The moderators soon stepped in and deleted most posts and Ankhor was promoted back, ending the chaos and bringing back order. The mods decided to have a massive election that would decide what members would be promoted to mods in 2018 and what mods would be demoted and many members suspect there may be a purge. The issue and solutions were further discussed on the TMC Official Podcast.

  • The 2nd January Uprising
    • TMC the largest community for mappers on the internet was overrun with infighting. Proxima had recently lost elections and had his Mod status removed. Proxima then got his fanbase to protest his demotion on TMC. Proxima fans began to spam TMC and start a "rebellion" posts defending Proxima were deleted by the administration. This only caused more members of TMC to support Proxima. Many members called for the administration to be reorganized and for more elections and freedom. Imperialis a TMC mod took matters into his hands and did so. He demoted a large amount of mods and promoted many members to mods. Imperialis never got approval from Cheezewafflz mapping to do so. Cheezewafflz then demoted Imperialis and Ankhor mapping for not consulting him about making this decision. This led to a 2nd revolution against Cheezewafflz. To protect himself Cheezewafflz reorganized the administration again demoting and promoting mods and members. Ankhor mapping getting demoted made him quit mapping. Many other popular mappers followed and that made there fans quit creating a chain reaction that lead to hundreds of mappers quieting and then their friends quieting. Many members of TMC left and many made there own communities.

    • Imperialis brought back The Mappers Union or TMU (One of the communities that united with Mapperverse to bring back TMC) Imperialis was going to use TMU to take down Cheezewafflz's TMC and help the people against Cheezewafflz in TMC. Rumors started that Cheezewafflz was also going to expose Japanese Mapping. Imperialis and Cheezewafflz then decided to have a talk and come to a solution. The conflict stopped and Cheezewafflz restored the administration to pre January 18th.

  • TMC Administration changes
    • With the January uprisings over Platine takes control blaming TMC elections for the chaos. Stating that renegotiation of the administration made TMC lack a central strong figure and gave too much power to the members. Platine took control of TMC again and dissolved the constitution giving him and the mods absolute control over TMC. To help TMC recover a mod called Colonial started a map contest that got many submissions and Buckeye mapping was declared winner.
