The Empire of Keltikka (Kel-TEEK-a), formally Celtic Lands, is an empire which spans Northern Spain, the Gaul, and The British Isles. It is the 4th largest country in Europe and largest in the European Union. Keltikka borders France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands and Germany and takes up modern day Ireland, UK, Northern France, Northern Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg and the South of the Netherlands. Keltikka's capital city is Dublin, in the province of Laighin, however the largest city is London, in the province of Dàs Brettanach. Keltikka's population is over 124 million which makes it the most populous country in the EU.
History[]
After the December 2016 Scottish Independance election, Scotland ceded from the UK. Finding the world's largest oil patch off its coast, Scotland became more powerful than the rest of the UK. Trying to separate itself even more from the UK, Scotland decided to change its official language to Scots Gaelic and change its flag. Meanwhile in Ireland, Northern Ireland was also trying to leave the UK and join the Republic of Ireland or become independant. Scotland and Northern Ireland decided to create a union which then managed to conquer all the British Isles including England whose government had fallen.
Later on, in March 2017, riots started in Northern Spain over the Spanish government removing Galician as a regional language. The Galicians started a war against the Spanish eventually winning at the Battle of Léon. Galicia, now independant decided to join the British Isles to form a Celtic Empire. The riots in Spain triggered other riots in areas with ancient celtic communities like France. This period is known as the "Celtic Spring". Similar wars in Brittany, where there was a coup d'état and the ancient Gaul were fought and the Celtic Empire eventually conquered all these regions. An Irish man named Seamus Duncan was voted to be the emperor of the empire and he made Dublin the empire's capital city although the largest city is London.
