Levels of Mapping are how a mapper can advance in mapping, as one would follow the Level Criteria.

Please note the criteria's apply to mappers as a whole and not individual series.

How will I assess the work of mappers?

I will look at your recent activity of mapping on the month, and look at how your channel and videos apply to the level criteria. If you have been inactive for a month e.g. posted a mapping video 4 months ago, I will have to use the most recent content posted to form a level, and carry that across until further progress has been produced by the mapper.

Level 1
Show an understand of how countries develop and change. To understand the basic concept of mapping and how a war takes place.

Level 2
Show an understand of how countries have diplomatic relations and may declare war to create an empire e.g. unite Iberia, unite Celts, make Soviet union

Level 3
Can show a war taking place between two parties (aka two nations e.g.a red nation and a blue nation) and show the war between those two nations take place. This may involve video quality of 360p and 10 views.

Level 4
Can show a war taking place between three nations or more. This may involve video quality of 360p and at least 15 views.

Level 5 (Perfect Tense)
Can include events from the past (what has already happened) in their videos e.g. history of Europe as well as what is currently happening in their series (the present). This may involve a very good video quality and at least 30 views. The mapper should have at least 25 subscribers.

Level 6 (Future Tense)
To include events from the past (what has already happened) in their videos e.g. history of Europe as well as what is currently happening in their series (the present). This will also involve a cliffhanger perhaps, or tension in the series to attract the viewer's attention into wanting to watch the next part. A Good way to achieve this level would be to make viewers vote on which party to win a war (blue team or red team). This should be an excellent video quality, 30 views at least and 50 subscribers. This could also mean that one series is set as History of Europe, and another series set 1000 years time in the future.

Level 7
To include events from the past (what has already happened) in their videos e.g. history of Europe as well as what is currently happening in their series (the present). This will also involve a cliffhanger perhaps, or tension in the series to attract the viewer's attention into wanting to watch the next part. This mapper will use various techniques in their series to attract the viewers attention e.g. showing parts of Asia and Africa, nations from other continents invading (this shows the impact of different nations in different continents living near one another), as well as making viewers vote in the comments, creating empires, annexing, warmongering nations, aliens from another planet, time travel.

Level 8
To include events from the past (what has already happened) in their videos e.g. history of Europe as well as what is currently happening in their series (the present). This will also involve a cliffhanger perhaps, or tension in the series to attract the viewer's attention into wanting to watch the next part. This mapper will use a wide ranged variety techniques in their series to attract the viewers attention e.g. showing parts of Asia and Africa, nations from other continents invading (this shows the impact of different nations in different continents living near one another), as well as making viewers vote in the comments, creating empires, annexing, warmongering nations, aliens from another planet, time travel. Level 8 is similar to Level 7, except in a lot more detail.
