The Linguavision Song Contest, often shortened to LSC or Linguavision, was a monthly song contest based on the Eurovision Song Contest, with the big rule of not being allowed to compete with songs in the English language, and with fictional countries in Mapperdonia participating. It was created in September 2016 by SconesAndTea Mapping and ShiningOrange, who became Linguavision's first two directors. In December 2018, ShiningOrange indefinitely suspended the contest due to low participation counts.
Linguavision returned in May 2020, when former director Mazovian Mapping (in co-operation with General Andalousian) scheduled LSC XXV to happen in June 2020. Mazovian Mapping also updated neglected pages associated with the contest in order to improve its overall organisation. Following a two-year run, Linguavision was cancelled in July 2022 for reasons similar to that of its initial suspension.
Possibilities for a new set of editions depend on demand. In May 2023, Zarexian Mapper reworked and modernised many of the pages associated with Linguavision to make a potential revival of it possible.
