History

Penguin Kingdom

Several penguin tribes were wandering around the continent, having their own cultures and traditions. One tribe, Pingus, by the end of the 16th century had developed a hierarchical society. The tribe began to attack other penguin tribes, with the goal of uniting every penguin tribe in Antarctica. This massive operation was led by monarch Pingu the Great and later by his son Pingu II the Great.

By the end of 17th century, the whole continent of Antarctica was controlled by the royal family. The discipline was unjudistical. Critique about the royal family led to death. Though the discipline angered the population, they did not rise up. Quickly the kingdom began to develop and the capital, Poleholm, became the cultural and economic center of the kingdom.

Penguin Revolution

Rioting in Penguiongyang
Inspired by Bolsheviks, the population started to riot in the major cities of the kingdom in August 1920. The organized group called themselves as Penguviks and demanded the current King, Pingu-kra II, abdicate his crown. Penguviks caused strikes and rioting around the country, but the King and his royal forces didn't surrender to the group.

In the meantime, United States was looking to find economical ties with the king. When the king declined the trade agreement and started to arraign the US government, United States decided to help the Penguviks. With the strong weaponry of United States, Penguviks managed to crush the Royal forces.

When most of the Royal forces were crushed, Penguviks converted the remaining Royal forces against the king and joined the revolution. The king Pingu-kra II and his family was caputured on 20th November 1920. The public execution of the king was held on 25th of November. The leader of Penguviks, Krao Zekrong, was elected as the president of the new unitary socialist state.
