Location

The Central African Republic is a country in central Africa bordered by Cameroon, Chad, Doctor Congo, the Republic of the Congo, South Sudan and Sudan. It's currently one of the poorest countries on Earth.

History

The Central African Republic was formed when France granted it independence. It turned into the Central African Empire for a while, but later restored the republic.

Foreign Relations

The Central African Republic is a member of the UN, and is suspended from the African Union.
